A gold foil business card has parts of the design covered in a thin, shiny metal layer. It catches the light, so a logo or name stands out in a way ink cannot. The same process works for every foil color we offer.

Regular business cards are the simple, everyday choice. Foil cards cost more, but they get noticed and they feel heavier in the hand. Many people use foil for the cards they give to clients and partners, and regular cards for everyday handouts.
No. We do not offer raised foil. The foil sits flat on the card, so it looks bright and sharp but you will not feel a bump. The card itself is thick 16PT stock with a soft, velvet-like feel.
Foil looks best on bold parts of the design: a logo, a name, a border or a simple pattern. Very thin lines and tiny text are hard to foil cleanly, so keep those in ink.

You can choose square, rounded or 2 rounded corners. Print full color on the front only or on both sides, and put foil on the front or on both sides when you print both.
