Which postcard size should I pick?
4″ × 6″: classic postcard. 4.25″ × 5.5″: quarter page. 5″ × 7″: invitations, promos. 5.5″ × 8.5″: half page. 6″ × 9″: stands out in the mail. 6″ × 11″: largest, most room.
Larger sizes give you more room and stand out more in a stack of mail. If you plan to mail them, check the post office size rules for the rate you want before you order.
What can custom postcards be used for?
Direct mail to a neighborhood, thank-you cards in every order, event invitations, appointment reminders, save the dates and coupons at the counter. A thick postcard feels like it is worth keeping.
Print both sides to put a big photo on the front and your message and address area on the back.
Tips for a postcard people keep
Lead with one big photo or one bold line on the front. Put the details on the back: the offer, the date, your phone number and your website. If it is a coupon, add an end date so people act on it. Leave a clear, empty area on the back if you plan to write an address or a note by hand.
14PT or 16PT card?
Standard 14PT is a sturdy card with a glossy finish. Premium 16PT is thicker, heavier and stiffer. Both are printed in full color.

Custom postcard questions
What is the standard postcard size?
4″ × 6″ is the classic postcard size. We also print 4.25″ × 5.5″, 5″ × 7″, 5.5″ × 8.5″, 6″ × 9″ and 6″ × 11″.
Can I print on both sides?
Yes. Choose front and back in the order steps, or front only to leave the back blank.
What finish do your postcards have?
A glossy finish, on standard 14PT or thicker 16PT card.
How many postcards can I order?
100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500, 5,000 or 10,000 postcards.
Can you mail the postcards for me?
Not through the online store. We print them and you pick them up or we ship them to you. Contact us if you need help with a mailing.
