Refund Policy

Per-product refund, cancellation, and reprint rules.

Overview

We want you to be happy with what you buy from CipherForces. This page explains when you can get a refund, reprint, or credit — product by product. Where a product is delivered as an ongoing service or a custom deliverable, the rules naturally differ from a commodity purchase. If you're not sure which rule applies, email sales@cipherforces.com.

Nothing in this policy limits any refund right you may have under mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction (for example, the UK Consumer Rights Act, EU Consumer Rights Directive, Australian Consumer Law, or California Civil Code §1723).

Pro License ($39)

  • 14-day money-back guarantee if the license has not yet been activated on any browser. Email sales@cipherforces.com within 14 days of purchase with your LemonSqueezy order number.
  • Once activated, the license is non-refundable because you have full access to the Pro-gated functionality from that moment on.
  • If LemonSqueezy identifies a payment as fraudulent or mistakenly charged, we process the refund through LemonSqueezy and deactivate the license.

Print orders

Print products are made-to-order. They cannot be re-sold and are therefore non-refundable once production has started — except in the cases below.

  • Before production starts (typically within the first 2 hours after checkout, but sometimes shorter for express orders): full refund on request. Email us as quickly as possible and we'll try to cancel.
  • Manufacturing defect or shipping damage. Email sales@cipherforces.com within 7 days of delivery with clear photos. Verified defects get a free reprint or, at your option, a full refund.
  • Wrong item delivered. We reprint and reship at no cost.
  • Lost in transit. If tracking shows "not delivered" 10 business days after the carrier's estimated delivery date, we reprint at no cost.
  • Customer-supplied file issues (low resolution, wrong bleed, color profile off, trademarked content, typos) are not eligible for a refund or reprint. We do not proofread artwork.
  • Color match. Printed color will not match an uncalibrated monitor exactly. We do not refund for color differences unless the deviation is outside industry-standard tolerances.

Print design add-ons

The design add-on covers a single round of custom design with one revision. Because the add-on is labor that begins the moment you submit your brief, it is refundable only:

  • Before we send you the initial concept, full refund.
  • After initial concept but before you approve final artwork, 50% refund (we keep 50% for work completed).
  • After you approve final artwork, non-refundable.
  • Automated logo generator (free and $39 Pro): no refunds; the tool runs entirely in your browser and nothing is billed to an account.
  • Professional logo design (human-delivered package): refundable under the same tiers as print design add-ons above. Full refund before first concept; 50% after first concept; non-refundable after you approve the final mark.

Starter packages (branding, web, automation)

Starter packages are scoped professional-services engagements. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Before kickoff call: full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before the scheduled kickoff.
  • After kickoff, before first deliverable: 70% refund (we keep 30% for onboarding, planning, and scheduling).
  • After first deliverable sent: no refund for completed milestones; unused milestone balance refunded at our discretion, minus any out-of-pocket costs (stock licensing, paid software, etc.).
  • After final delivery accepted: non-refundable.

If a custom Statement of Work is signed, the SoW's refund terms override this section.

Wedding websites

  • Template ($250): full refund before we provision your subdomain. After provisioning, 50% refund up to the point you send us your content. Once content is entered, non-refundable.
  • Custom ($750): same milestone-based tiers as Starter Packages above.
  • Hosting renewal beyond the included 12-month window: prorated to the nearest full month on cancellation.
  • We do not refund because of guest-side issues (a guest can't submit an RSVP on their old browser, etc.) — those are routine support items we'll fix for free but don't constitute a refund event.

How to request a refund

  1. Email sales@cipherforces.com with your order number, a short description, and photos or screenshots if applicable.
  2. We reply within 2 business days with next steps. Most claims are resolved within 10 business days.
  3. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Credit-card refunds typically post in 5–10 business days; bank debits can take up to 15 business days.

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first. We resolve nearly all disputes within two business days. Chargebacks filed without contacting us may result in our suspending your access to the site and refusing future service. We cooperate fully with Stripe and LemonSqueezy in chargeback evidence and will provide order records, IP logs, proof of delivery, and approval emails as needed.

Exceptions and overrides

Where a product page, coupon, or signed Statement of Work states terms different from this page, those more-specific terms apply to that purchase. If law requires a stronger right in your jurisdiction (e.g., UK CCRs 14-day cooling-off for digital goods not yet supplied), the stronger right applies.
