A tri-fold brochure is one sheet folded twice, so it makes six panels: three on the outside and three on the inside. Folded, it fits in a hand, a rack or a mailing envelope.
It works well for menus, service lists, price sheets, event programs and new customer guides.
The front cover is the right-hand panel on the outside. The back cover is the middle panel on the outside, so it is a good spot for your contact details and a map. The panel that folds in is the first thing people see when they open it. Put your main offer there.
Keep text away from the folds and the edges. If you are not sure, choose to have us design it. You approve a proof before anything we design is printed.
Standard is glossy paper, light and sturdy. Premium is thicker paper, glossy like a catalog cover. Premium is a good pick when people keep the brochure, like a menu.
Think about where each one goes: a rack at the front desk, a bag at a trade show, or a mailing to past customers. Brochures last longer than flyers because people keep them, so you may need fewer than you think. The price per brochure drops as the amount goes up.
Use short headings on each panel so people can scan it. Pick two or three good photos rather than many small ones. Use high-resolution images, since a photo pulled from a website often looks blurry in print. End with one clear next step, like a phone number or a website.
