How do hours roll over?

Unused hours roll over up to 3× your monthly cap. Care Standard (5 hrs/mo) caps at 15 banked hours. Care Lite caps at 6, Care Plus at 30. Use them for whatever — they don't expire as long as you're active.

What counts as one hour?

Real working time on your project: planning, code, copy, testing, deploying. Rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. We send a short monthly summary so there's no mystery.

Is print-piece design billed from my Care hours?

No. Print design uses a separate rate ($85/hr rack, $65/hr for Care members) and does NOT draw from your Care block. We do that intentionally — print is a different skill tier and a different billing track.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — after the 3-month minimum, cancel with 30 days notice. No clawback, no fees. Banked rollover hours expire at cancellation.

What if I need more hours one month?

We use your banked rollover first. After that, anything beyond your tier bills at the plan-member rate. We tell you before we cross the line.

What does Website Care cover that hosting doesn't?

Hosting keeps your site online (CDN, SSL, backups, uptime). Care covers everything that requires us doing work — content updates, bug fixes, new pages, performance tuning, SEO tweaks, integrations.

Why do our plans start at $450, not $50?

If you have seen $50–$150/mo “maintenance” plans, here is the honest difference: those are almost always automated — uptime monitoring, nightly backups, and plugin updates that run on their own. Useful, but nobody is building anything.

Our care plans are a block of real senior-developer hours you can spend each month — content changes, new pages, speed and Core Web Vitals work, security patches, on-page SEO, and integrations — at a discounted $180–$225/hr effective rate against our $250/hr rack. You also get a response-time SLA, and unused hours roll over so nothing is wasted.

In other words, a cheap plan is a dashboard; ours is work that actually moves your site forward. If all you need is monitoring and backups, our managed hosting already includes that — a care plan is for when you want a developer on call.

Why do your plans start at $450/mo when others charge $50?

A $50/mo plan is almost always automated uptime checks, backups, and plugin updates — no human building anything. Our plans are blocks of real senior-developer hours (content changes, new pages, performance, security, on-page SEO) at a discounted $180–$225/hr effective rate versus our $250/hr rack, plus a response-time SLA and rollover. You are paying for work, not a dashboard.

What does a care plan actually include?

Do unused hours roll over?

Yes — unused hours roll into the next month, banking up to 3× your monthly amount (so Care Lite banks up to 6 hours, Standard up to 15, Plus up to 30). Use two of five hours in March and you start April with eight.

Is there a contract?

There is a 3-month minimum to get started, then it is month-to-month — cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. No long lock-in.

What happens if I go over my included hours?

Extra work bills at the plan-member rate of $200/hr — not the $250/hr rack rate. Care subscribers always get the discounted rate on out-of-plan work.

What is NOT included in a care plan?

Care covers maintenance and improvements, not: print-piece design, new site builds, paid ad management, seo content writing. Those are quoted separately so your hours go to your site.
