A second mode works the other way around: give it a real pixel size like 1920 x 1080 and it reduces the size to its simplest whole-number ratio using the greatest common divisor, tells you whether it is landscape, portrait, or square, and names the standard ratio when it recognizes one. It is pure arithmetic in your browser — nothing is uploaded, no account is needed, and there is no rate limit.

One honest caveat: when a ratio does not divide your dimension evenly, the exact answer is fractional. The tool rounds to whole pixels by default (real image and video dimensions are integers) but shows you the exact value and lets you turn rounding off, so you always know when a pixel has been nudged.
