Everything runs in your browser using our own edge-detection math — Sobel for bold, cartoon-style outlines and a difference-of-Gaussians pass for finer contours. There is no account, no upload, and no AI service in the loop, so your photo never leaves your device and nothing you make carries a watermark.

Honest note: this is an algorithmic outline tracer, not an artist. It shines on clear, well-lit subjects with good contrast; very busy or low-contrast photos produce busy, broken lines, which is exactly what the Detail and Smoothing sliders are for. The output is a black-and-white PNG (not a vector file), and it draws pure outlines — if you want numbered regions with a color key, use our Color by Numbers tool instead.
