Open and read a Word document without Word

Drop a .docx file and it renders right here — headings, tables, lists, and images intact — so you can read it without installing Microsoft Word or handing it to Google Docs. When you need a hard copy, one button prints a clean version of the document itself, not the web page around it.

Because everything runs in your browser, the file never leaves your device. That matters for contracts, resumes, medical forms, and anything else you would rather not park on a stranger's server just to take a quick look. There is no account, no watermark, and no size-gated "upgrade to view."

One honest caveat: this opens the modern .docx format (Word 2007 and newer). It does not read the old binary .doc format or password-protected files — re-save those as .docx in Word first, and expect very unusual layouts to render slightly differently than Word itself.
