About GIF Maker.
Turn a Set of Images Into an Animated GIF — Right in Your Browser
Drop in two or more images, drag them into the order you want, set how long each frame shows and how many times the animation loops, and CipherForces GIF Maker encodes a looping animated GIF on the spot. A live preview cycles your frames at the chosen speed before you commit, so the timing and order you see are exactly what you download.
Everything happens on your device. Each image is decoded, painted onto one common canvas — either filling the frame (cover) or letterboxed over a background color you pick (fit) — then quantized to a 256-color palette and written straight into the GIF with the gifenc encoder. No upload, no server, no account, no watermark. Because differently sized photos are normalized to a single output size, your frames line up cleanly instead of jumping around.
One honest caveat: the GIF format is capped at 256 colors per frame and isn't a compact format, so a large, many-frame, photographic animation can produce a big file. The tool defaults to a sensible output size, lets you set the exact width and height, and warns you when an export is getting heavy so the tab stays responsive.
Common Use Cases
- Before-and-after loops: Alternate two or three photos to show a renovation, a design revision, or a product change as a single glanceable animation.
- Product and step sequences: Chain screenshots or photos into a short how-to loop for a README, help doc, or listing where an autoplay video won't play.
- Social and chat: Assemble a quick reaction or highlight GIF from a burst of photos for Slack, Discord, or a group chat — no watermark.
- Slideshows and moodboards: Turn a handful of images into a slow, looping slideshow you can embed anywhere a GIF renders.
- Frame-by-frame animation: Bring in exported frames from a drawing or design app and set the delay to preview them as motion.
- Logos and stickers: Cycle a few variations of a mark or sticker over a transparent-friendly background color for a simple animated badge.
Privacy: The entire process — decoding, drawing, palette quantization, and GIF encoding — runs entirely in your browser using the canvas and the gifenc library. Your images never leave your device and nothing is uploaded to any server.
