Calendar Event Generator
Create an event anyone can add to Google, Outlook, or Apple Calendar in one click.
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Add a title to finish
The .ics file also imports into Apple Calendar, Yahoo, and every other app. Opening a web link above sends this event to that provider.
About Calendar Event Generator.
Create a calendar event anyone can add in one click
Fill in a title, place, time, and time zone, and this tool hand-builds a valid .ics file — the universal calendar format that Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, and every other app understands. Add an optional reminder and notes, then download the file or use the direct Add to Google and Add to Outlook links.
Unlike most add-to-calendar widgets, nothing here talks to a server. The .ics text is assembled right in your browser to the RFC 5545 spec — correct line folding, escaped punctuation, a unique UID, and a DTSTAMP — so it imports cleanly instead of getting rejected or landing at the wrong time.
Time zones are handled properly: pick the zone the event actually happens in and the file carries it, so a 9:00 AM meeting stays 9:00 AM for you and shows the correct local time for everyone you send it to.
What people use it for
- Event invites: Add a "save the date" to an email or page by attaching the .ics or linking straight to Google or Outlook.
- Webinars and classes: Give attendees a one-click add with the join link in the location field and the agenda in the notes.
- Appointments: Send clients an event they can drop into their own calendar, with a reminder already set.
- All-day dates: Birthdays, deadlines, holidays, and trips as clean all-day entries that never drift a day across time zones.
- Cross-time-zone meetings: Set the event in its true zone so remote teammates each see the right hour in their calendar.
- Learning the format: View the generated source to see exactly how a spec-correct .ics file is built, then reuse it in your own scripts or newsletters.
Privacy: Everything runs entirely in your browser — your event details are never uploaded to us, and the file is built on your device. Note that clicking an Add to Google or Add to Outlook link does send that one event to the provider you chose, which is how those services add it for you.
