Everything runs on your device — nothing is uploaded — so it is safe for contracts, financials, and anything confidential. Honest about the limits: this needs a digital PDF with a selectable text layer — a scan or image-only PDF has no text to convert, and the tool says so instead of handing back a blank file (run OCR first). Structure is best-effort: font-size heading detection is a heuristic, and multi-column pages and tables are read in top-to-bottom order, so complex layouts may need a quick manual tidy.
