A Pomodoro Timer That Lives in Your Browser Tab

The Pomodoro technique is simple: work in a focused block, take a short break, and after a few blocks take a longer one. This timer runs that cycle for you — set your focus and break lengths, press start, and it auto-advances from focus to break and back, counting the pomodoros you finish along the way. Defaults are the classic 25-minute focus, 5-minute short break, and 15-minute long break every four sessions, but every length and the long-break interval is yours to change.

The remaining time is mirrored into the browser tab title, so you can switch to another window and still watch the countdown tick down. An optional soft chime marks the end of each phase — it is generated on the fly with the Web Audio API, so there is no sound file to download and nothing to load. Tap the spacebar to start or pause without reaching for the mouse.

One honest note: the completed-pomodoro count and session focus total are for the current visit only — closing or reloading the tab starts them fresh. There is no account and nothing saved to a server, which is exactly why it keeps working with no connection and never sees what you are working on.
